About Us
In July 2023, Tami Knubel, Nicholas Cendese, Julie Johnston, Carrie Peterson, and Kristen Messenger teamed up to establish the Utah Creative Dance Foundation. The newly established Foundation then took ownership of South Valley Creative Dance, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2024, and transforming it into a non-profit public charity.

The Utah Creative Dance Foundation is dedicated to building dynamic environments where the transformative power of creative movement and modern dance are recognized as vital tools for education, expression, and genuine interaction with the world.
Our Programs
Through innovative age-appropriate classes, workshops, programs, community engagement activities and collaborative partnerships, the Utah Creative Dance Foundation nurtures individuals of all ages and backgrounds as artists and strives to inspire all to discover their inner expressive potential, enhance their physical and emotional well-being, and cultivate a deep connection to the world around them.
